In Bruxelles 09.11.08

Just returning from a trip to Brussels where I was working on a piece with my friends Will, Jeroen and Janneka all about identity and the rather intriguing situation in Brussels. The result of that should be up soon. For now, enjoy the pic in Costa Coffee and feel for me with the fact that I had to stay up from midnight till 6am waiting for my train at Kings Cross. The entire of Costa was asleep which provided for many photobooth snaps.

New Happenings 11.10.08

I have just taken up residence in a studio space in Ancoats, Manchester where in my spare time I'll be producing a whole new load of work, promise.

To celebrate this, I'm setting up a new website where hopefully it'll be easier to make quick updates. It'll be using the much praised but also controversial indexhibit cms done by vaskas/eatock. I do love this website - but at the moment it lacks immediacy in showing work department.

Won't be long now..

Lodown 30.07.08

Long time no update. Only a little one for now, but there is lots of new work on the way. I have recently been featured in German culture magazine, Lodown, along with a couple of my comrades, Chris Clarke, and Richard Sanderson.

A nice few column inches kindly covering the zines and I can't wait to publication. Currently very busy working for a small Manchester company, and trying to bust out a range of t-shirts, as well of course, as some new zines.

A Summer Season of Discussion 27.06.08

Just done the posters for Craftspace. These were supposed to be letterpressed but unfortunately the Vandercook broke down on me at the 11th hour and couldn't be repaired in time, so they were screenprinted.

They are to promote a blog which looks at the identity of craft within the slow revolution. Check it here.

A special thanks to Snap Studio, Bristol, who made the printing of these posters possible.

Calculus 13.06.08

I've began collecting a small pocket calculators, with the main rule being they must be A7 or smaller. I'll probably will never get more than the two that I have. Why I'm collecting these, I don't know.

On a more work-based note, I just finished another advert for Craftspace in Birmingham. It was a fun, unusual little project, and I was also meaning to do an edition of letterpress posters to go with it though I think thats out the window, who knows though, they might come to life.

For both these entries, check out the project archive.
